Paid Virtual Internship
Applications due by May 28, 5pm
Teams of 5-7 students will consult for a UMD department to solve a real challenge they are facing, with guidance and support from 2 experienced staff mentors.
Students receive formal and informal training on some of the most sought after skills, including critical thinking, problem analysis, interpersonal engagement, how to communicate effectively, and how to deliver information.
The program runs 10 weeks and can be completed virtually. It concludes with a final presentation to the project client and university leadership.
Student should expect to work approx. 20 hours per week:
~10 hours/week of team collaboration + client meetings
~10 hours/week independent work
