E-procurement Tools Implementation

Parent Program


Acquire and implement e-procurement tools to streamline the process for purchasing goods and some services. The initial implementation will be an "Amazon"-like tool that coalesces both UMD and other available leveraged buying contracts for use by campus consumers.

Intended Outcomes

  • Increased use of leveraged buying agreements, enabling reduced spending on many purchases
  • Improved merchant level commodity data, allowing better contract negotiation and reduced commodity pricing
  • Less time spent searching for and completing the purchasing of goods and services
