Dan Symonds has worked at UMD for the past 20 years, serving in a variety of roles within the Office of the Registrar. He has been heavily engaged in Access to Courses, Academic Policy Assessment and Implementation, and System Development. Over the past 8 years, Dan has served as a Business Analyst on the Student Information System Modernization Project, focusing on UM business processes, requirement analysis, and process reengineering. He also has provided leadership for a number of local and international Software Development Teams. Dan holds a BA from the University of Maryland.
